I went over to the hospital this evening to hang out with my grandmother who managed to fracture her back yesterday. (She's 89. Brittle bones happen.) I got there only a few minutes before they shot her full of pain meds, so she ended up... more | Thoughts on social sites and web miscellanea
People think that a lot of Google+'s features are radical and new. What they don't realize is that Multiply had a lot of similar features 7 years ago. But Multiply was never able to pull in the numbers of people that it needed to do well. If Google... more | Mostly book reviews | Apr 24, 2010 |
Applying the Meiers-Briggs Type indicator (MBTi) to issues of spirituality and church life appears to be a trend of late. It's under 3 minutes, which I like. I've got room still to add some more info/text (during the thunder mountain clip or while the camera is moving on yesterday's footage). Riley sounds just fine to me sometimes and other times he seems to drop out (... more | Snippets
 | What's cookin' | Sep 23, 2011 |
This is from the Best International Recipe Book from the author's of Cook's Illustrated. The dish was so good that even though I don't usually eat meat, I ate a full serving of this. If I had it to do over, I would probably try a veg version of meatballs and cut the meat version of the meatballs in half. And I'd make twice as much of the sauce and picada. | Music | Jan 28, 2010 |
